Fifteen Cowgirls Collect Academic All-Big 12 First Team Honors

IRVING, Texas – Fifteen of Oklahoma State equestrian's student-athletes have been named to the 2023 Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
OSU's equestrian program now counts 157 Academic All-Big 12 selections since the award began in 2015, with 137 of those being chosen to the first team.
A group of three fifth-year Cowgirls are earning the award for the fourth time in their careers. Hannah Lovrien and Sydnie Ziegler are each four-time first team selections, while Hannah Coleman earns her third first-team honor.
Of OSU's impressive senior class, six make their third appearances on the Academic All-Big 12 First Team: Hope King, Molly Mitchell, Caroline Nielson, Sydney North, Emma Pacyna and Jojo Roberson.
The remaining six Cowgirls earned Academic All-Big 12 recognition for the first time in their careers. Quincee Clark, Josie Elliott, Riley Hogan, Grace McReynolds, Ella Reinauer and Bree Tuso join the long list of first team selections in Oklahoma State's history.
To be selected to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team, student-athletes must have maintained at least a 3.20 GPA and participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Freshman and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible, according to the Big 12.
