Cowboys Fall in OT to North Texas

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Oklahoma State men's basketball lost its NIT quarterfinal matchup with North Texas, 65-59.
Caleb Asberry led the Cowboys with 14 points, but missed two free-throws at the end of regulation to send the game to overtime.Â
North Texas outscored OSU 10-4 in the OT period.
Tylor Perry, the Conference USA Player of the Year, led the Mean Green with 23 points and knocked down two free-throws with :09 remaining to ice the game.
Moussa Cisse added 13 points and seven rebounds on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting from the field.
Oklahoma State finished the 2022-23 season with a 20-16 record, the third time the Cowboys have reached 20 or more wins under coach Mike Boynton.
