Cowgirl Tennis Checks In At No. 17

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's women's tennis team checked in at No. 17 in the latest ITA Top 25 rankings, it was announced today by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
This marks the eighth consecutive week the Cowgirls have appeared in the ITA poll.
OSU is fresh off a pair of victories during it conference-opening weekend. Last Friday, OSU traveled to Waco where they took down No. 40 Baylor, 4-3. The Cowgirls have now won seven of the last eight meetings against the Bears.
Two days later, OSU put on an impressive performance earning a top-15 win by dropping 12th-ranked Texas, 4-3, in Austin. This marks the first time the Cowgirls have beat the two-time reigning champions since 2017.
The wins moved OSU's record to 9-4 overall and 2-0 in Big 12 play on the year. Additionally, OSU has secured the doubles point in ten out of their first thirteen matches.
The Cowgirls are set to host a pair of conference tests this weekend starting with No. 61 TCU on Friday at 5 p.m. and No. 33 Texas Tech Sunday at 1 p.m.
