• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will wrap up its two-game homestand to start the regular season on Wednesday with an 11 a.m. tip against New Orleans.
• The Cowgirls posted a 14-3 mark last year at home, including a 7-1 mark in non-conference play.
• The matchup will serve as OSU's Classroom at the Court game with nearly 1,800 students and educators from 19 schools across the state in attendance.
• The contest will be OSU's last home game until a Nov. 26 tilt with Missouri State.
• OSU's first road contest will come on Nov. 12 at No. 20 Colorado, which knocked off top-ranked LSU in its season opener on Monday night.
• The Cowgirls reached the century mark in the scoring column for the first time ever in a season opener against SIUE and will be looking for consecutive 100-point outings for the second time in program history.

• OSU won its home opener for the 17th time in the last 18 seasons after knocking off SIUE on Monday night.
• Lior Garzon scored 17 points to eclipse the 1,000-point mark for her career.
• All nine Cowgirls who saw action scored in the contest. Eight Cowgirls recorded at least one rebound and eight players logged at least one assist in the win.
• Stailee Heard posted a double-double in her collegiate debut to become the first Cowgirl since Brittany Reeves against Oral Roberts (11 points, 14 rebounds) on Nov. 29, 2020 to achieve the feat in their first game as a Cowgirl.
• Additionally, she became the first Cowgirl freshman to log a double-double in her debut since Cheri Westervelt finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds against North Texas on Dec. 1, 1993.
• OSU finished with 22 assists against just four turnovers.

• Wednesday's contest will be the season opener for the Privateers, who will make a two-game swing through the state with a Nov. 10 contest at Tulsa.
• New Orleans is led by DeArica Pryor, who was named to the preseason Southland Conference all-conference squad.
• Last year, New Orleans finished the year with an 8-20 mark and a 7-11 record in league play.

• The Cowgirls have won both previous meetings against New Orleans with both contests being played in Stillwater.
