OSU Track & Field Announces 2023-24 Indoor Schedule
November 27, 2023 | Cowboy Cross Country & Track
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men's and women's track & field will travel across the country during the 2023-24 indoor season, with nine regular season and two postseason meets listed on the indoor slate.
The indoor season officially starts in Boston with the distance crew competing alongside the best distance talent from around the NCAA at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season opener on Dec. 2.
OSU will then take a month break before resuming the indoor calendar with consecutive trips to Arkansas for the Arkansas and Razorback Invitationals, respectively. The February schedule kicks off with two Kansas State meets from Feb. 1-2 and Feb. 2-3, the first of which being a Pentathlon and Heptathlon event.
The month continues with a second trip to Boston at the brand new the TRACK at New Balance Feb. 9-10, which will also serve as host for the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships. During the same weekend, OSU will also make a third trip to Arkansas for the Tyson Invitational. Rounding out the regular season, most of the roster will once again travel to Arkansas for the Arkansas Qualifier, with the Distance Medley Relay squads either running there or at the Alex Wilson Invitational at Notre Dame. At last year's Arkansas Qualifier, the men's DMR crew broke the school, collegiate and unofficial indoor world record in the event with their time of 9:16.40
Postseason action kicks off with the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championships in Lubbock, Texas, from Feb. 24-25 as the Cowgirls look to defend their first-ever track & field conference title. From there, Individual qualifiers will head back to Boston for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, where OSU picked up a pair of national champions last year with Fouad Messaoudi (3,000 Meters) and the DMR squad of Messaoudi, Charlie Bartholomew, Juan Diego Castro and Ryan Schoppe taking home golds.
