Game Notes:
• Oklahoma State tied the program record for most three pointers in a game, draining 17 threes on a 17-of-33 (51.5%) clip. The Cowboys previously set the record on Feb. 27, 2019, at Texas Tech
• The Cowboys scored 85 points on the Bearkats, the most they've allowed since Southern Utah dropped 86 points on Jan. 12
• For OSU, their 85-point outing marked its most points in a game since defeating Oakland 91-62 on Nov. 13, 2022
• Javon Small, John-Michael Wright, Quion Williams, Eric Dailey Jr. and Mike Marsh received the starting nod
• Small made his Cowboys debut after averaging 15.8 points and 5.6 assists at East Carolina last season. For the guard, it marked his first game action since Jan. 11
• OSU's second unit was on full display, tallying 37 bench points
• The Cowboys backcourt starred, with Bryce Thompson, Javon Small and John-Michael Wright scoring 17, 16 and 14 points, respectively
• Oklahoma State generated an 11-1 run in the closing portions of the first half, building a lead as large as 10

Game Flow:
• Quion Williams opened scoring for the Cowboys, drilling a left-wing three off an Eric Dailey Jr. assist at the left corner
• Dailey Jr. drilled his first three as a Cowboy on the ensuing possession, building a 6-2 lead
• Trailing 13-6, Justin McBride drilled back-to-back threes before Brandon Garrison made a layup to net an 8-0 run and a Cowboys lead
• Following a pair of lead changes and a tie, four Cowboys chipped in on an 8-4 run to enter the first half's final media timeout up 29-27
• Bryce Thompson and Quion Williams bolstered OSU's lead as large as 10, generating an 11-1 run in the process
• The Cowboys went to the three-point line early and often, shooting 7-of-16 (43.8%) from distance in the first half
• The Cowboys recorded nine assists in the first half
• Javon Small opened the second half with a three to notch a 41-30 advantage
• After a 5-0 SHU stretch, Marsh and Dailey Jr. fetched and-one opportunities at the rim
• The Cowboys gravitated toward the three-point line in the mid-portion of the second half, burying its next four-of-six shots from distance – stamped by a Small three
• Opened by Small's jumper, the Cowboys logged an 8-0 run, pushing its lead to 17
• OSU built its lead to 19 off a John-Michael Wright three, holding a double-digit lead for the remainder of the game

The OSU Win…
• Notched Mike Boynton's 108th career win as OSU's head coach, moving him to fourth place on the school's all-time victories list ahead of Paul Hansen, who was 107-89 in seven seasons with the program (1979-86)
• Moved the Cowboys to a 4-0 series lead over the Bearkats
• Evened OSU to 1-1 on the season
