Cowgirl Tennis Has Successful Day in North Carolina

CARY, N. C. – Three members of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team competed in the singles and doubles main draws at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, North Carolina, on Wednesday.
Ange Oby Kajuru and Anastasiya Komar competed in the round of 32 in the singles main draw. Kajuru, who played her way in through the qualifying draw, earned a victory, defeating Auburn's Carolyn Ansari, 6-2, 6-1. Komar fell to Casie Wooten of Wake Forest, 2-6, 6-7 (4-7).
In doubles, Komar and Raquel Gonzalez secured a first-round victory. The pair defeated Celia-Belle Mohr and Anessa Lee of Vanderbilt, 6-0, 7-6 (7-2), to advance to tomorrow's round of 16.
