• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will tip off its 2023-24 campaign on Oct. 31 when Oklahoma Christian comes calling for a 6:30 p.m. exhibition contest.
• Oklahoma Christian becomes the eighth different in-state school the Cowgirls have hosted for exhibition play. The Lady Eagles join Central Oklahoma, East Central, Northeastern State, Panhandle State, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Southern Nazarene and Southwestern Oklahoma State on that list.
• The contest will mark OSU's lone exhibition tilt of the season before the Cowgirls open the regular season on Nov. 6 against SIUE.

• After a 94-41 win over Northeastern (Okla.) State last November, the Cowgirls have won 26 consecutive exhibition contests.
• The Cowgirls' last exhibition loss came on Nov. 14, 2003 against Northwest Sports.
• Since 2002, OSU sports a 29-1 record in exhibition play.
• Hoyt went 4-1 in exhibition contests while leading the Kansas City program before winning her first exhibition as OSU's head coach last season.

• The Cowgirls started the Jacie Hoyt era with an impressive 91-41 victory over Northeastern (Okla.) State last year.
• The Cowgirls outscored the RiverHawks 21-1 in the second frame to take a 45-13 lead into the halftime locker room. OSU shot 50 percent (16 of 32) in the half and assisted on 12 of those baskets.
• For the contest, OSU finished with six scorers in double figures as Kassidy De Lapp led the way with 16.
• As a team, OSU shot 50.8 percent from the floor while holding NSU to a 31.4 percent effort and into 18 turnovers.
