Pernilla Lindberg stands as one of the top golfers to come through Oklahoma State. As a three-time All-American, Lindberg carried her success to the professional ranks, becoming the first Oklahoma State golfer – Cowboy or Cowgirl – to win a major championship. In 2018, she made worldwide headlines after winning the 2018 ANA Inspiration in thrilling fashion over world No. 1 Inbee Park in an eight-hole sudden-death playoff. Since, Lindberg has continued to be a shining light on the Cowgirl golf program, remaining in touch with the program while competing on the LPGA Tour and LET Tour.
