Peyre, Miyamoto to Meet in Jackson 15k Final

JACKSON, Tenn. – Lucia Peyre and Ayumi Miyamoto of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team each won semifinal matches on Saturday to advance to the ITF Jackson 15k pro circuit singles final.
Peyre, the top seed, earned a dominant win over third seeded Carolyn Ansari from Auburn, 6-3, 6-0. Miyamoto followed that with a convincing win of her own, defeating seventh seeded Panna Bartha from Hungary, 6-3, 6-2.
The pair of Cowgirls will play for the singles title on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT. This marks the second time in a week that two Oklahoma State women's tennis team members have played in final of their respective tournaments, as Ange Oby Kajuru defeated Anastasiya Komar for the singles title in the ITA Central Regional Championships on Tuesday.
