Kilfoyl, Poullard Shine in Exhibition Win

STILLWATER – A four-run seventh inning propelled the Oklahoma State softball team to a 7-2 exhibition win over Oklahoma Christian at Cowgirl Stadium Thursday.
Lexi Kilfoyl picked up the win by striking out five in three innings and Jilyen Poullard went 3-for-3 with a double and three runs scored to lead the way for OSU.
OC held a 1-0 lead in the seventh inning, but a double from Cowgirl freshman Karli Godwin scored Haidyn Sokoloski and Macy Graf to give OSU the lead. Tallen Edwards followed with a two-run single to extend the Cowgirl advantage to 4-1. OSU added another insurance run in the seventh and two more in the 10th to put the game out of reach.
The fall exhibition schedule continues when the Cowgirls host West Texas A&M at 2 p.m. Sunday in Cowgirl Stadium. Admission is free.
