Cowboy Duo Earns Third-Team All-America Honors

NORMAN, Okla. – Oklahoma State's Aman Gupta and Brian Stark were both honored on Tuesday with the finalization of the Division I PING All-America teams by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Gupta and Stark were each named third-team selections. The duo joins teammate Eugenio Chacarra, who was previously named a first-team pick. With their selections, the Cowboys now have 192 All-Americans in program history.
Gupta competed in nine events for the Cowboys during his senior campaign. The Concord, North Carolina native posted three consecutive top 10s this spring, tying for seventh at the General Hackler Championship, finishing in sole possession of third place at the N.I.T. and sharing ninth place at the Haskins Award Invitational.
He also finished in fifth place at the Big 12 Championship.
A junior from Kingsburg, California, Stark posted three consecutive top-six finishes in the fall, tying for third at The Carmel Cup, tying for fifth place at the Fighting Illini Invitational and adding a sixth-place showing at the Colonial Collegiate Invitational.
This spring, he added seven top-20 finishes capped by a tie for 15th at the NCAA Championship.
The duo helped the Cowboys to four victories this past season and a No. 3 final ranking according to Golfstat and the Golfweek/Sagarin Ranking.
