Cowgirl Tennis Finishes In The Top 10 In Final 2022 ITA Team Rankings

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State's women's tennis team checked in at No. 10 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings of the 2022 season, which were released on Wednesday.

The Cowgirls finished their impressive 2021-22 campaign at 20-6 overall, including a 7-2 mark in Big 12 play, in a year where the Cowgirls held a top 15 ranking for the majority of the season and reached the program's fifth Sweet 16 in the last seven seasons.

This marks the fourth time out of the last seven seasons that the Cowgirls have finished with a top 10 ITA or United States Tennis Association (USTA) final ranking and seven of the last eight years head coach Chris Young's squad has finished in the ITA top 15.
