Two Cowgirls Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State softball student-athletes Chelsea Alexander and Kelly Maxwell were named to the 2022 CoSIDA Academic All-District team, it was announced. The award recognizes student-athletes for their excellence in the classroom and on the field.
Earning Academic All-District honors means both Alexander and Maxwell will appear on the ballot for the CoSIDA Academic All-America team, which will be named later.
Alexander earned a 3.94 GPA in her undergraduate studies of agricultural communications. In her Master of Business Administration program, Alexander currently holds a 4.00 GPA. A four-time Academic All-Big 12 selection, this is the second consecutive year in which Alexander has earned a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-District team.
Maxwell obtained a 3.63 GPA, studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Pre-Medical). A three-time first team Academic All-Big 12 honoree, this is the first time Maxwell has earned CoSIDA Academic All-District accolades.
