OSU Softball Climbs in Poll

STILLWATER – After winning four games last week, the Oklahoma State softball team stayed at No. 6 in the USA Today/NFCA DI Top 25 Coaches Poll and improved to No. 7 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball top 25, it was announced today.
OSU is 28-6 overall and 6-0 in Big 12 play. It has won 11 straight and 17 of its last 18. Of the Cowgirls' 28 wins on the season, 12 have come over teams with RPIs in the top 50.
After week eight, here's a look at where the Cowgirls rank in other national top 25 rankings:
No. 6 in Softball America's Top 25
No. 9 in D1 Softball's Top 25
No. 7 in the NCAA's adjusted RPI
Looking ahead, the Cowgirls play a mid-week matchup at Wichita State tomorrow at 6 p.m., followed by another Big 12 road trip to Ames, Iowa, to take on Iowa State in a three-game slate starting Friday.
