Five Cowgirls Earn Big 12 All-Academic Honors

Irving, Texas - Five members of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team were recognized with the announcement of the 2021 Academic All-Big 12 squad by the league office today. Â
Among those recognized were Lora Boggs and Alana Wolfberg, who were nominated with 4.00 grade-point averages. Boggs and Wolfberg were two of five honorees nominated with a 4.00-grade point average out of the entire conference. Â
Joining Boggs and Wolfberg as members of the first team were Dariya Detkovskaya, Ayumi Miyamoto and Martina Zerulo. Â
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters, and must have participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible. Â
