Ziegler Earns Big 12 Rider of the Month Honor

STILLWATER - Oklahoma State's Sydnie Ziegler has been named the Big 12 Conference February Rider of the Month in Fences.

Ziegler went 3-2 last month beginning with a MOP-worthy performance against Baylor where she bested her opponent, 85-80. She fell in her next ride versus UC Davis but bounced back the next day for a season-high score of 86 at UT Martin.

The following week, the senior handily defeated her Fresno State opponent, 85-60, and earned her second MOP honor of the month. She closed out the month with a close loss against her TCU contender.

Throughout the month, Ziegler had an impressive average win margin of 13.67 points and had a high average score of 81.6

Winners are selected by the conference's coaches. Ziegler is a first-time honoree.
