Cowgirls Remain Undefeated On The Spring

TULSA - Grace Yochum's goal with 29 seconds remaining lifted Oklahoma State to a 2-1 win over Tulsa in a spring exhibition match Saturday.

With the win, the Cowgirls are now 3-0 on the spring season.

OSU took the game's initial lead in the 13th minute when Logan Heausler scored a low driven ball to the far post off a Yochum assist.

The Cowgirls took the 1-0 advantage into halftime and nearly doubled the lead in the 57th minute, but a Yochum header off a Shyann McClary corner kick was headed off the line by a TU defender.

The home team equalized with 25 minutes left off a corner kick to knot the score at 1-1.

The last 10 minutes of the match saw the Cowgirls create a flurry of chances at goal, including close-range shots in front of the net by Samiah Phiri and Yochum that were blocked by defenders.

Yochum's game winner came on a tap in following a scrum in front of the goal.

OSU returns to action Saturday when it hosts Abilene Christian at Neal Patterson Stadium at 1 p.m.
