Cowgirl Softball Jumps To No. 7/10 in National Polls

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State softball team moved to No. 7 in the USA Today/NFCA DI Top 25 Coaches Poll and No. 10 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball T op 25, it was announced today.
The Cowgirls won five of their last six including wins against North Texas, and four commanding victories over Wichita State and Kansas City at the OSU Mizuno Classic.
Oklahoma State outscored its opponents at the OSU Mizuno Classic 35-4 including three run rules in the four-game stretch.
After week six, here's a look at where the Cowgirls rank in other national top 25 rankings:
No. 11 in D1 Softball's Top 25
No. 12 in Softball America's Top 25
The Cowgirls head into Big 12 play this week with Texas Tech at Cowgirl Stadium. They play on Friday at 6 p.m. CT, Saturday at 2 p.m. CT and Sunday at 12 p.m. CT.
