AMES, Iowa — Oklahoma State's women's basketball team closed out its week with a 76-58 loss to No. 11 Iowa State on Saturday evening in front, 10,443 fans inside Hilton Coliseum.
The Cyclones raced out to a 28-13 lead in the first quarter after hitting 11 of their 13 shots (85 percent) from the floor.
In the second, the Cowgirls got within 12 on a pair of occasions in the second quarter before ISU would eventually take a 42-28 lead into the halftime locker room.
The Cyclones would use a 10-4 lead after the break to push the margin to 20 at the halfway point of the third.
Lauren Fields led OSU with 19 points, including a 3-of-6 effort from beyond the 3-point line. For the game, the Cowgirls connected on eight treys, their best total since knocking down nine against TCU on Jan. 12.
