Five Cowgirls Ranked In ITA Individual Poll

STILLWATER– Five members of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team were ranked in the most recent ITA Tennis Division I women's tennis rankings released by the ITA this morning.
The national rankings feature the top 125 singles players and the top 60 doubles teams in the country.
Freshman Mhai Sawangkaew earned the highest singles ranking of any Cowgirl as she landed at No. 29, while Cowgirl veteran Lisa Marie Rioux checked in at No. 50. Newcomer Oona Orpana climbed her way to the No. 82 spot in the rankings.
Both undefeated Cowgirl doubles duos earned a spot in the top 60. Ayumi Miyamoto and Lisa Marie Rioux checked in at No. 26 and Mhai Sawangkaew and Martina Zerulo are the 58th-ranked duo in the nation.
The Cowgirls will begin the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic tomorrow morning at 8:30 against Yale.
