Oklahoma State's women's tennis team (3-1 over- all; 0-0 Big 12) is set to face Arizona State this weekend. The action starts Saturday morning at 11 a.m. when the Cowgirls host the Sun Devils (4-1 overall; 0-0 Pac 12) in Stillwater. Â

Oklahoma State from a Distance Â
Oklahoma State's 22nd-ranked women's tennis team is fresh off of a 7-0 sweep on Tuesday evening against Missouri. The Cowgirls moved to 3-1 on the season after putting on a clinic at the Greenwood Tennis Center. OSU entered the Mis- souri match following competition at ITA Kickoff Weekend, where the Cowgirls went 1-1, finishing the weekend with a 4-0 shutout of 21st-ranked LSU. OSU dropped a hard-fought match against No. 11 Ohio State, 4-1, on day one of play. The Cowgirls showed off their depth at the ITA Kickoff weekend, competing without two-time all- American Lisa Marie Rioux. To start the season, OSU picked up a 5-2 win over preseason top 25 Princeton to begin the spring dual season. The Cowgirls were set to face South Carolina before the match was canceled due to COVID protocols within the Gamecock program. This season, OSU returns Alana Wolfberg, Dariya Detkovskaya, Ayumi Miyamoto and Lora Boggs from last year's team. OSU signed Sofia Rojas, Oona Orpana, Mhai Mananchaya and Martina Zerulo. The veterans and Cowgirl newcomers have played a large role in the team's early success. OSU set the stage this fall for high expectations come the spring season between the three returners and five signees. OSU has nine ITA preseason top 25 opponents on this years schedule. Â
