February 01, 2022 | Cowgirl Equestrian
STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State Equestrian team was selected as the No. 1 team in the nation for the third consecutive NCEA Farnam poll. This is the first time the Cowgirls have remained on top of three-straight polls in NCEA history.
OSU (4-1) earned four consecutive wins to open the season before dropping its meet to SMU to close out the fall schedule.
The Cowgirls are the highest-ranked team in the Big 12, with the closest in the conference being Baylor at No. 4 followed by No. 7 Fresno State and No 8 TCU.
OSU will open the spring season with a top-5 conference matchup February 5 when it hosts Baylor. The Cowgirls previously defeated the Bears, 10-9, in their season opener at Waco.
