Cowboys Roll Past Prairie View A&M

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State shot 56 percent from the field and scored 51 second-half points to defeat Prairie View A&M, 78-53.
Avery Anderson III, the Cowboys' leading scorer coming into the game, posted 16 points and three assists to lead the Cowboys, as well as four rebounds and one steal. 13 of Anderson's 16 came in the second half.
Oklahoma State held only a one-point lead at halftime but scored the first 12 points of the second half and never looked back.
Bryce Thompson recorded 13 points on 50 percent shooting, while Moussa Cisse collected his fourth double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
The Big 12's leading shot-blocker, Cisse swatted four more shots against PVAMU to improve his season total to 25. The next closest player to Cisse in the Big 12 sits at ten total.
Oklahoma State's defense put out its best performance of the young season, holding the Panthers to a season-low 53 points while blocking a season-high nine shots.
Kalib Boone made his first-career three-point field goal in the contest, and freshman Quion Williams recorded a career-high 11 points on 3-of-3 shooting.
The Cowboys improved to 6-0 against Prairie View A&M with all six victories coming by double-digits.
The Cowboys will be back in action on the road on Thursday, Dec. 1 against UConn at 5:30 p.m. CT.
