OSU Indoor Track & Field Wraps Up Busy Weekend At J.D. Martin Invitational

NORMAN, Okla. - The Oklahoma State men's and women's track and field teams competed in their second meet of the weekend in the J.D. Martin Invitational on Saturday.

India Morgan came in first place in the women's long jump. She won the event with a distance of 5.70m, which shattered her previous personal best in the event. Four other Cowgirls landed in the top ten with Sanye Ford in sixth, Allison Bliss in seventh, Sara Byers in eighth and Sydney Ritter in ninth.Â

In the women's mile, five Cowgirls found their way in the top ten. Emily Forster led the way for the Cowgirls, finishing second, followed by Zoie Kiddy who finished third. Natalia Cleveland, Amelia Jauregui and Molly Humes came in fifth, sixth and ninth, respectively.

In the women's pole vault, Ariadni Adamopoulou placed third with a season-high height of 4.16m.

For the Cowboys, freshman Blair Anderson recorded a 6.82m distance in the men's long jump in his first career meet.Â

In the men's high jump, Adam Borgerding placed eighth with a personal-best height of 1.95m.Â
