Oklahoma State Track & Field Travels to Fayetteville for Arkansas Invitational

THE BASICS
Oklahoma State track & field travels to Fayetteville, Ark., to compete in the Arkansas Invitational on Friday, Jan. 14.

This is the first major competition of the 2022 season for both the Cowboys and Cowgirls as they look to improve upon their fourth and second place finishes at the Big 12 Indoor Championships last spring.

New year, new season
The Cowboys enter the 2022 season with returning Second-Team All-American Juan-Diego Castro (800m) and nine All-Big 12 finishers from 2021: Max Braht, Justin Long, Alex Maier, Will Muirhead, Triston Read, Isai Rodriguez, Ryan Schoppe and Alex Stitt.

The Cowgirls enter the 2022 season also returning five First-Team All-Americans (Ariadni Adamopoulou, Sivan Auerbach, Stephanie Moss, Christina Ollison and Taylor Roe) and 18 All-Big 12 finishers from a year ago (Adamopoulou, Kalaya Ali, Auerbach, Molly Born, Heidi Demeo, Nicolette Dixon, Gabija Galvydyte, Bailey Golden, Saara Hakanen, Gabby Hentemann, Lilly Lavier, Moss, Tori Ortiz, Rilee Rigdon, Roe and Maddie Salek).
