Cowgirls Picked Fourth In Big 12 Preseason Poll

IRVING, Texas — Oklahoma State's women's tennis team was picked to finish fourth in a vote of the league's head coaches in the 2022 Big 12 Tennis Preseason Poll it was announced today.
Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.
The Cowgirls received 60 points in the poll. OSU enters 2022 following an 11-12 record last season, including a 4-4 mark in conference action, and a fifth-place finish in the Big 12.
In addition to four returners from last season's team, head coach Chris Young's squad added five key newcomers to bolster the depth of the roster.
Oklahoma State will begin the spring season this weekend at the Freeman Memorial Women's Tennis Championships at the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas followed by the first dual of the season against No. 23 Princeton on Jan. 19 at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
