Cowboy Wrestling Ranked No. 3 in Preseason Poll

STILLWATER - The Oklahoma State wrestling team is ranked No. 3 in Intermat's 2021-22 preseason poll, which was released earlier today.
The Cowboys wrapped up an undefeated dual season with a share of their ninth-consecutive Big 12 tournament title and a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships in March. Five All-Americans return to the OSU lineup this season, led by Daton Fix and AJ Ferrari. Fix is a two-time All-American and the national runner-up at 133 pounds, with Ferrari winning the 197-pound individual championship as a true freshman, becoming only the third to do so in program history.
Oklahoma State is represented at all 10 weights with Ferrari leading the pack at 197 and Fix coming in at No. 2 at 133 pounds. Travis Wittlake and Dakota Geer also landed inside the top-10 in their respective weight classes after All-American finishes a season ago.
OSU is one of six Big 12 schools ranked in the initial poll with No. 2 Missouri being the only conference affiliate ranked higher. Oklahoma lands at No. 12, followed by No. 13 Wyoming, No. 23 South Dakota State and No. 25 Iowa State.
