Dallas-Area Standout Signs With Cowgirl Softball
July 16, 2021 | Cowgirl Softball
STILLWATER – A Texas Glory club all-star is joining the Oklahoma State softball team.
Burleson, Texas native Audrey Schneidmiller, the Johnson County Catcher of the Year and Burleson Independent District MVP, is a defensive standout with power.
"The reason I chose this school is because the minute I stepped on campus I felt like I was in the presence of a family," Schneidmiller said. "I just love the environment."
Schneidmiller appeared in 25 games during the 2021 season for Texas Glory. In those games, she amassed 45 hits, including 10 home runs, and racked up 43 RBI.
She is ranked in the top 75 of the ExtraInnings 2021 Position Rankings and is also a member of the ExtraInnings Extra Elite 100.
Under head coach Kenny Gajewski, Oklahoma State has become a premier destination for elite high school athletes and Division I transfers alike.
"Audrey is a player that has really blossomed over the last year," Gajewski said. "She is a dynamic defender and her offense has really started to take off. Adding her to our roster will provide great depth and competition at catcher with Taylor [Tuck] and Maggie [Herdejurgen].
Schneidmiller joins a Cowgirl team that comes off a 2021 season in which it qualified for its second consecutive Women's College World Series and placed second in the Big 12.
