Cowgirl Equestrian Welcomes Peyton Baxter

Oklahoma State's equestrian team will welcome Western rider Peyton Baxter to the team this fall it was announced today by Cowgirl head coach Larry Sanchez.
"I'm most excited about the Cowgirl family and the experience," Baxter said. "The campus, the team and the academics brought me to Oklahoma State. I'm most excited about meeting new people and the team."
"Peyton comes to OSU with a lot of versatility. Quite honestly, I believe she is a hidden gem who will be a force to be reckoned with. Her experience and work ethic will help her and her team succeed in the show pen. We look forward to seeing her growth and accomplishments," OSU Western coach Laura Brainard said.
Baxter makes her way to Stillwater via Rockford High School in Rockford, Michigan. Baxter has been riding for 13 years and competes in Reining and Horsemanship.
Baxter plans to major in Aerospace Engineering and Business. Her favorite hype song is "Eye of the Tiger"; her go-to pre-show meal is chicken nuggets. Baxter's superstitions include wearing her OSU hat. She's most excited about meeting new people and the team.
