Sweet 16 Clash With Texas A&M Awaits

CARY, N.C. – The 10th-seeded Oklahoma State women's soccer team is set to take on No. 7 seed Texas A&M in an NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 matchup at 11 a.m. CT Wednesday in Cary, N.C. The game will not be televised, but is available via live stream HERE.
The Cowgirls (13-3-1) are coming off a dominant 7-0 win over South Alabama in the second round to advance to the third Sweet 16 in program history.
"We're really excited to be in the Sweet 16 again, it's been a bit for our program," head coach Colin Carmichael said.
The meeting between the Cowgirls and the Aggies will be the 22nd time the two teams have met, most recently in 2017 when the Cowgirls recorded a 2-2 tie against the Aggies in College Station.
"It's a great matchup, we're very familiar with A&M's program, a former Big 12 foe, we've had some great matchups with them through history," Carmichael said.
A win would result in the Cowgirls' third visit to the NCAA Elite 8 after recording back-to-back appearances in 2010 and 2011.
"The team's mentality is we're going to go in, we're going to play strong and we're going to play tough," forward Gabriella Coleman said. "I feel like the team is really excited to go into this game,"
