The No. 5 national seed Oklahoma State Cowgirls (45-9) host an NCAA Super Regional this weekend against the No. 12 national seed Texas Longhorns (42-12). The best-of-three series is set to begin at 4 p.m. CT on Friday, May 28. The winner of the series will advance to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City.Watch, Listen, Follow

Highlights of Oklahoma State's 2021 season résumé include a 23-6 record against teams who were included in the NCAA Tournament field, six wins over top-10 opponents, nine wins over top-25 opponents and four wins over ranked non-conference opponents. The Cowgirls claimed victories over No. 1 national seed Oklahoma and No. 6 national seed Arkansas, two wins over No. 7 national seed LSU and four wins over No. 12 national seed Texas, all of whom are still in the hunt as Super Regionals begin.OSU set a program record for consecutive conference victories with 15 en route to its best record in the Big 12 era.
The Cowgirl pitching staff is led by Big 12 Pitcher of the Year Carrie Eberle and fellow first-team All-Big 12 selection Kelly Maxwell. The duo sports a combined 38-6 record this season. Senior Logan Simunek is the first pitcher in relief.
First-team All-Big 12 selections Hayley Busby and Kiley Naomi are formidable weapons in the lineup, with second-team all-conference honorees Chelsea Alexander, Chyenne Factor and Alysen Febrey also crucial pieces to the Cowgirls' success this season.
Oklahoma State has 14 run-rule victories this season and is outscoring its opponents, 340-136.
