Eight Cowgirls Receive NFCA All-Region Honors

STILLWATER — Eight Oklahoma State softball student-athletes received NFCA All-Region honors for the 2021 season, it was announced today.
OSU's first-team honorees were pitchers Carrie Eberle and Kelly Maxwell, first baseman Alysen Febrey, center fielder Chyenne Factor and designated player Hayley Busby. Left fielder Chelsea Alexander earned second-team recognition, while middle infielders Karli Petty and Kiley Naomi were third-team selections.
The Cowgirls led the Midwest region with five first-team selections, a number that stands as the most for the program since 1996.
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the NFCA's 10 regions with first, second and third-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region voted on the teams, and all student-athletes now become eligible for the 2021 NFCA Division I All-America squads.
The 2021 NFCA Division I All-America teams will be announced on Wednesday, June 2.
