Cowgirls Continue Strong Performance at NCAA Regional

STANFORD, Calif – The Oklahoma State Women's golf team shot 2-under 282 and are in fourth place after 36 holes at the NCAA regional in Stanford, California.
The Cowgirls had an impressive day to put them solidly in position to qualify for the NCAA Championships on May 21-26. The low six teams and the low three individuals not on those teams at each of the four NCAA Regional sites will advance to the NCAA Championships in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Stanford leads the field at 25-under 543.
Maja Stark notched an impressive seven birdies and shot 2-under 69 on the day to put her in a tie for third place. She has recorded a 6-under 136 on the first 36 holes.
Isabella Fierro had a solid performance and finished the day on par and in a tie for 15th. Rina Tatematsu had a strong showing on the day notching three birdies and an eagle for a 3-under 68 and ending the day in a tie for 20th.
Lianna Bailey and Maddison Hinson-Tolchard finished the day in a tie for 52nd and 93rd respectively.
The Cowgirls will tee off the final 18-holes of the NCAA Regional at 9 a.m. PST Wednesday morning.
