THE BASICS
Fresh off a weekend that featured three away outdoor meets, Oklahoma State will divide and conquer once again, slated to appear at another trio of away meets over the weekend. The Pokes will compete at the OSU High Performance Meet at Oregon State, the Texas Invitational at Texas and the KC Qualifier hosted at the University of St. Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas.
At the Texas Invitational is where a majority of Oklahoma State's athletes will compete. After a week to rest, recover and refocus, the Pokes are headed back to Austin for the first time since the 93rd Annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays earlier this season to face a talented field.
IN THE POLLS
In the fifth installment of the National Track & Field Rating Index from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the Cowgirls hold steady at No. 4 in the Midwest Region, joining Big 12 foes Kansas State (No. 1) and Oklahoma (No. 2) in the top five. For the Cowboys, they continue their upward trend in the Midwest Region, jumping another two spots to No. 7 in the Midwest. Both the Cowgirls and the Cowboys slot in at No. 5 in the Big 12 in this week's conference rating index.
