Cowboy Golf Back in Action In Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will return to action this weekend when it begins play at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Course.
The Cowboys, who enter play ranked third nationally by Golfstat, are one of 15 teams slated to tee it up at the par-72, 7,053-yard layout. Play will get underway on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. (EST) with a shotgun start. The field will play 36 holes continuously. Sunday's final round will get underway at 8:00 a.m.
OSU is coming off its second win of the year and its first of the spring at the N.I.T. in Arizona last month. Sophomore Eugenio Chacarra led the way with a runner-up showing, while sophomore Aman Gupta tied for seventh place.
Chacarra and Gupta will be joined in the lineup this week by freshmen Bo Jin and Jonas Baumgartner as well as sophomore Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen.
Of note, junior Austin Eckroat is in the field at this week's PGA Tour stop, the Valero Texas Open. Eckroat's last Tour start came in December at the Mayakoba Golf Classic where he tied for 12th place at 14-under 270.
