Ethan Fang Named To Haskins Watch List

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Oklahoma State's Ethan Fang has been named to the Haskins Award Final Fall Watch List it was announced today by the Haskins Foundation.
Founded in 1971 by the Haskins Commission, the coveted trophy honors the year's outstanding college golfer and is voted upon by college golfers, coaches and members of the media.
A native of Plano, Texas, Fang is coming off an impressive sophomore campaign that saw him garner first-team All-America status. He was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year and helped the Cowboys capture their 12th NCAA title.
On the amateur scene, Fang represented the U.S. at the Walker Cup, the Arnold Palmer Cup and most recently competed for the American side at the World Amateur Team Championship. This summer, he became the first American in 18 years to win The Amateur Championship and competed at the 153rd Open Championship. Additionally, Fang earned medalist honors at the Western Amateur.
This fall, Fang logged his first victory, sharing medalist honors at The Carmel Cup.
He helped the Cowboys to victory at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational where he tied for ninth place. Fang closed the fall with a seventh-place showing at The Clerico.
