Six Cowgirls Named To The NCEA All-America Team

WACO, Texas – Six Cowgirl Equestrian riders have been named to the 2020-21 National Collegiate Equestrian Association Ariat All-America teams.
OSU now counts 60 All-American honors in program history, with 32 different Cowgirls earning that recognition.
The top four riders per event were selected and named Ariat First-Team All-Americans by the NCEA Selection Committee, while the next four riders per event earned second-team honors. Honorable Mention honorees were selected via established criteria.
OSU senior Harley Huff continued to add to her sparkling resume as she became a four-time All-American by being named to the Horsemanship All-America Second Team; Huff is now a two-time first-team All-American and two-time second-team honoree.
Joining Huff as a Horsemanship All-American for the Cowgirls is Jojo Roberson, who was an honorable mention performer.
Abigail Brayman also added to her storied career as one of OSU's multiple-time All-Americans as she earned a spot on the All-America Second Team in Flat and is now a three-time All-American. Katie Pelzel was an honorable mention selection in Flat.
OSU's Katie Schell, the Big 12 Fences Rider of the Year, earned a spot on the first-team All-America list, and Cowgirl Emma Pacyna was named to the second team.
To earn honorable mention status, riders had to meet the following criteria:
· Must have a 67 percent or higher winning percentage, excluding ties
· Compete in a minimum of 67% of the team's NCEA qualifying regular season meets as defined in 9.2.1.
· Have at least an adjusted NRS score of:
o 85 for flat
o 90 for fences
o 80 for horsemanship
o 76 for reining
