Pokes Travel to Austin for Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays

THE BASICS
As the outdoor track and field season picks up into full swing, the Oklahoma State men's and women's teams will make a trip back to Texas, this time heading to Austin to represent America's Brightest Orange at the Clyde Little field Texas Relays on March 25-27.
IN THE POLLS
The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association ranked the Cowgirls at No. 24 in the country and fourth in the Big 12 at the end of the indoor season, while the Cowboys closed out the season ranked fifth in the conference. The first official USTFCCCA outdoor track and field rankings will be released on March 29.
LAST TIME OUT
In Oklahoma State's last outdoor track and field competition, the TCU Invitational:
- 2019 Outdoor All-American Aaliyah Birmingham picked up her second event win of the outdoor season with a 23.85-second pace in the 200 meters, a time tied for fourth-fastest in school history.
- 2021 Indoor All-American Christina Ollison earned the 400-meter title after posting a personal best 53.93, the third-fastest time in Cowgirl history.
- In her first competition in nearly two years, Washington State-transfer Kelsey Kehl finished runner-up in the javelin throw with a mark of 45.96m, the third-farthest mark by a Cowgirl ever.

MEET SCHEDULE (ALL TIMES CT)
The Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays are slated to kick off Thursday at 10 a.m. with the 100 meter hurldes as a part of the women's heptathlon. Oklahoma State's weekend will start at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday as Kelsey Kehl takes to the field to compete in the women's javelin throw. The Pokes will compete each day of the three-day meet and are scheduled to close out their weekend in Austin with the women's 4x400 meter relay at 4:20 p.m. on Saturday.
