Cowgirl Tennis Falls At Baylor

WACO, Texas - Oklahoma State women's tennis team wrapped up its conference-opening road trip with a 6-1 loss at No. 11 Baylor on Sunday.
With the setback, the Cowgirls fell to 6-7 on the year, while the Bears improved to 16-2.
After today's match against the Bears, OSU has played seven ranked opponents this season, five of which are ranked in the top eight in the nation.
In doubles play, Dariya Detkovskaya and Daniella Medvedeva dominated their match defeating Kris Sorokolet and Audrey Boch-Collins of Baylor, 6-0. Bunyawi Thamchaiwat and Ayumi Miyamoto lost, 6-1, to Baylor's duo of Mel Krywoj and Angie Shakhraichuk. The Bears claimed the doubles point after Livia Kraus and Alicia Herrero Linana beat Lenka Stara and Alana Wolfberg, 6-4.
The Cowgirls were unable to gain any momentum in singles action. Lenka Stara fell to Livia Kraus, 6-2, 6-3 and Daniella Medvedeva lost to Baylor's Paula Baranano, 7-6 (7-2), 6-2. Angie Shakhraichuk defeated Dariya Detkovskaya, 7-5, 6-3, to give the Bears the match-clinching point.
