Cowgirls Head West For A Pair Of Ranked Matches

STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State's women's tennis team will hit the road for a pair of matches against ranked opponents this weekend, taking on No. 4 Pepperdine and No. 17 Southern California.
OSU holds a 5-3 record after a stretch of three consecutive wins. In the latest ITA poll, the Pokes checked in at No. 13 for the third straight week. Yesterday, the Cowgirls swept Oral Roberts, 7-0, in Stillwater, where the entire team played at a high level and did not drop a match.
The first match of the weekend will come against Pepperdine on Friday, Feb. 26 at 1:00 p.m. The last time the two teams met was last season, where the Cowgirls won the match, 4-3. OSU holds a 3-2 advantage in the overall series.
OSU has a quick turnaround to battle it out with USC Saturday, Feb. 27 at 12:00 p.m. The Cowgirls trail by a 4-2 margin all-time against USC. OSU was defeated the last time they saw the Trojans in 2016, 5-2.
