Cowgirl Tennis Set To Host Oral Roberts

STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State's women's tennis team will be back in action on Wednesday as it hosts Oral Roberts at 2 p.m. inside the Greenwood Tennis Center.
The Cowgirls are 18-3 all-time against Oral Roberts with the last meeting between the two teams coming in 2020. OSU prevailed, 4-0, in that contest. Oral Roberts comes to Stillwater with a 1-2 record on the year.
OSU holds a 4-3 record on the year and is coming off a doubleheader sweep last weekend, defeating Central Arkansas, 4-0, and Missouri State, 4-1.
On Saturday, the Cowgirl duos of Alana Woflberg and Daniella Medvedeva and Lenka Stara and Dariya Detkocskaya had big weekends helping OSU to the doubles point against Central Arkansas. Wolfberg/Medvedeva picked up a 6-2 win to gain an advantage. Stara and Detkovskaya finished off Central Arkansas' duo to earn the doubles as well as picking up another doubles win against Missouri State.
No. 77 Ayumi Miyamoto enters Wednesday's match after a singles win against Central Arkansas's Maja Gledic. Lenka Stara was undefeated in singles after defeating UCA's Sumomo Hamanaga, 6-2, 6-3 and Missouri State's Taylor Shaw, 6-2, 6-1.
