Game Flow
- Oral Roberts was able to jump out to an early 11-2 due to a slow OSU start.
- Powered by a 9-0 run, the Cowboys were able to take the lead for the first time under two minutes in the first half to go into the breakup 34-31
- The game stayed close the rest of the way then Oral Roberts tied it with 35 seconds to play to send the game into Overtime.
- In overtime Bryce Williams took the game over to give the Cowboys all that they needed for a 78-77 victory.
Game Notes
- Bryce Williams led the way, off the bench, for the Cowboys setting a new career-high in scoring with 21. He also had important buckets in overtime, hitting the game-winner to push Oklahoma State past Oral Roberts on the road.
- Isaac Likekele recorded a season-high in points with 13, he also added 9 rebounds to propel the Cowboys to their sixth win of the season.
- Oklahoma State's overtime win made it the fifth straight overtime victory under Mike Boynton tying the school record for most consecutive wins in overtime games. The Cowboys were 4-0 in overtime games last season.
- Oklahoma State was once again able to dominate their opponent in the paint outscoring Oral Roberts 56-26
- The depth continued to be a factor for the Cowboys as the bench outscored the ORU bench 47-8
- The win made Oklahoma State 4-0 vs. Oral Roberts under Mike Boynton and gave Oklahoma State a 19-5 advantage in the all-time series
