Oklahoma State Cross Country Set to Host Big 12 Championships

THE BASICS
Oklahoma State men's and women's cross country return to Stillwater to run in the Big 12 Cross Country Championship at the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course on Friday, Oct. 29.Â
OSU is looking to become the first team to sweep both the men's and women's Big 12 cross country team championships since Iowa State in 2018.

The fifth-ranked Cowboys look to defend their Big 12 title behind two-time All-American Isai Rodriguez and returning All-Americans Victor Shitsama and Ryan Smeeton. Shea Foster, Rory Leonard, Alex Maier and Isaiah Priddey have also scored for the Cowboys this season.Â
The seventh-ranked Cowgirls are coming off a solid performance at the Nuttycombe Invitational and are hunting for their first Big 12 title since 2019. Returning national runner-up Taylor Roe is going for her first Big 12 individual title on her home course.

MEET SCHEDULE (ALL TIMES CT)
The 2021 Big 12 Cross Country Championship will begin at 10 a.m. CT with the men's 8K. The women's 6K will begin at 11 a.m. with the awards show taking place at 12 p.m. following the conclusion of both races.For more information on the Cowgirls, continue to check back with okstate.com.
