2023 Outdoors
Kicked off her outdoor season with her first career 10K, running 33:02.36… Won the Bryan Clay Invitational 5K with her time of 15:47.70… Helped the Cowgirls finish second in both the 4x1,500 and Distance Medley Relays at the Penn Relays… Earned a pair of All-Big 12 honors in the 1,500 and 5,000 Meters at the Big 12 Championships… Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims, finishing 13th in the 5,000 Meters.
2023 Indoors
Once again solidified herself as a staple for the Cowgirls… Completed an incredible comeback at the Husky Classic in the 3,000 Meters, coming back from nearly 80 meters behind Arkansas’ Lauren Gregory and setting a new personal-best time of 8:56.94 in the win… Set a school record in the DMR at the Arkansas Qualifier with their time of 10:50.65… Was one of the key members of the Cowgirls’ first-ever track & field conference title, finishing as the Big 12 meet High-Point scorer with 24 points as she ran the distance triple (Mile, 3K & 5K)… Won the Big 12 title in the 5,000 Meters… Returned to the NCAA Indoor Championships as the defending champ in the 3,000 Meters, earning first team All-America honors as she finished third overall… Also earned first team All-America honors in the DMR as the Cowgirls finished sixth.
2022 Cross Country
Remained one of the top distance runners in the country this season and a leader for the Cowgirls in the 2022 campaign… Scored for the Cowgirls in every race she entered and reached the podium in three races… Opened her season with a solid 6K finish of 20:20.8 at the Cowboy Jamboree, leading to a second place finish and her third straight top two finish at the Invitational… Would only go up from there, as she continued to set the standard heading into the postseason by leading the Cowgirls to their record-setting Big 12 title performance and second consecutive title… Crossed the finish line in 20:10.8 in second place and was the first Cowgirl across, en route to her third consecutive All-Big 12 honor… Took on the NCAA Midwest Regionals seeking a championship ticket, and helped deliver it to OSU with her 15th straight top five placement as she crossed the line in third place… Her 20:11.9 finish earned her All-Midwest Region honors… Wrapped up her successful season with All-American honors and a top-15 finish in the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
2022 Outdoors
Carrying the momentum from her national championship from the indoor season, Roe kept the results churning during her sophomore outdoor campaign... Kicking things off at the Joe Walker Invitational, she finished fourth overall in the 1,500 Meters in what would be her lowest finish in any race longer than 800 Meters during the 2022 season... At the esteemed Bryan Clay Invitational in California, Roe obliterated a loaded field that included several All-Americans and one professional athlete, setting a 5,000-Meter school record with her time of 15:21.47... From there, she anchored a trio of relays at the Drake Relays, leading the Cowgirls to a pair of victories in the DMR and 4x1,600 Meters and a second-place finish in the 4x800 Meter Relay... She once again showed her championship prowess at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, winning her fourth Big 12 championship of the season in the 1,500 Meters with a time of 4:17.00, winning by over six seconds overall... A runner-up finish at the NCAA West Prelims qualified her for the NCAA Championships in the 5,000 Meters... At the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore., Roe earned her third top-5 finish in an NCAA Championship race with a third-place finish to wrap up her historic 2021-22 season that could be considered one of the greatest in Cowgirl history...
2022 Indoors
Fresh off her All-America finish during the cross country season, Roe kicked off her indoor campaign by breaking the school record in the 3,000 Meters with a time of 8:58.58 at the Wooo Pig Classic... She followed that performance up by winning the Arkansas Invitational in the Mile with a personal-best time of 4:34.35... Later that same meet, she anchored the Cowgirl DMR squad to a second-place finish... She again anchored a second-place DMR finish, this time at the Husky Classic as they went under 11 minutes with a time of 10:59.88, putting them fourth in Cowgirl history... At the Big 12 Indoor Championships in Ames, Iowa, Roe dominated every race she entered, winning three separate Big 12 titles in the Mile, DMR and 3,000 Meters... Her 24 combined points was the second highest at the entire meet and earned her Big 12 Women’s Indoor Performer of the Year... Qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 3,000 Meters... In the championships race, she held her own pace at the rear of the field before exploding to a nearly 100-meter lead with roughly 800 meters to go... Nobody in the rest of the field could handle her pace as she went on to become just the fifth Cowgirl to win an indoor NCAA Championship with a time of 8:58.95... Roe solidified herself as a Cowgirl all-timer during the 2022 indoor season as she went a perfect four-for-four in championship races, including three Big 12 titles to go along with her NCAA Championships in the 3,000 Meters.
2021 Cross Country
Once again led the Cowgirls from the front during the 2021 cross country season, finishing in the top 5 in all six of the meets the Cowgirls competed in... At the Cowboy Jamboree, Roe dominated the field, finishing 13.9 seconds ahead of the nearest competitor from another school... She parlayed that performance into another impressive performance as the Cowgirls traveled to Madison, Wis., for a loaded Nuttycombe Invitational that included 16 top-25 programs, placing third overall with a time of 20:01.1... At the Big 12 Championships in Stillwater, Roe picked up another third-place finish as she led the Cowgirl squad to a one-point victory over conference rivals Iowa State to take the Big 12 title... She paced the Cowgirls once again at the NCAA Midwest Regionals, finishing second and helping OSU to an NCAA Championship berth... Following her runner-up performance in 2020, she picked up her second-consecutive top-5 finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships with a season-best time of 19:33.5, leading the Cowgirls to a 13th-place finish overall, which was the highest for the program since 2015.
2021 Outdoors
Got her first outdoor track and field season with OSU started at the Joe Walker Invitational, where she posted personal bests in the 800 meters (2:08.78) and the 1,500 meters (4:13.99)… raced as a member of the Cowgirls’ winning 4x1600 meter relay and runner-up DMR at the Drake Relays… picked up an individual event win at the Arkansas Twilight in her first ever 3,000 meter steeplechase race; her 10:19.59 winning pace is fifth-fastest in program history.
2021 Indoors
Navigated the balance between indoor track and field and cross country training exceptionally during the season overlap that ensued as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic… got her sophomore indoor season off to a strong start with an event win in the Woo Pig Classic mile: her winning 4:39.87 pace also marks the fastest of her career… raced the fourth leg of the Cowgirl DMR unit that took home the fourth-place finish at the Tyson Invitational... continued her track and field hot streak at the Big 12 Championships where she claimed the Big 12 title in the women’s mile and contributed to a runner-up finish for the Cowgirl DMR… closed out the indoor season with a First-Team All-America performance at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships as the anchor leg of the fourth-place Oklahoma State women’s DMR unit.
2020 Cross Country
Captained the Cowgirls through the unique, segmented 2020 season as the top OSU finisher in all but one of the six meets Oklahoma State raced in… contributed to the Cowgirls’ score in all six races in 2020… placed no lower than fourth in any race… tabbed a pair of regular season runner-up finishes in the Cowboy Jamboree and the OSU Invitational… also finished runner-up at the 2020 Big 12 Cross Country Championships and led the way for the fourth-place OSU Cowgirls… finished in fourth-place at the FSU Winter Classic and the OSU Winter Open during the spring half of the 2020 cross country slate… capped off a remarkable sophomore season with a runner-up performance in the NCAA Cross Country Championship on her home course… her time of 20:06.7 in the 6K title race marks the best of her career, the fastest by a Cowgirl in 2020 and the fourth-fastest pace in program history.
2020 Indoors
Competed in the mile and the 3,000m twice each… finished third in the mile at the Razorback Invitational (4:53.20) and fourth at the Arkansas Invitational (4:55.09)… was fifth at the Big 12 Championships in the 3,000m with a time of 9:34.80.
2019 Cross Country
Competed in four meets, earning team points in two of those… helped the Cowgirls to the Big 12 Championship crown by finishing 16th with a time of 21:13.2 at the conference meet… also finished 39th at the Chile Pepper Festival.
High School
Attended Lake Stevens High School in Lake Stevens, Washington… Lettered all four years in track and cross country… Nine-time 4A Washington state champion… Two-time cross country state champion… Won multiple state titles in the 800m, 1,600m and 3,200m… Gatorade Washington Women’s Track & Field Athlete of the Year in 2017.
