Cowboys Set For Match Play At East Lake Cup

ATLANTA – Oklahoma State's men's golf team posted a 4-over total of 292 on Monday during the stroke play portion of the East Lake Cup to tie for third place at East Lake Golf Club.

The Cowboys shared third with Oklahoma at the par-72, 7,434-yard layout. Pepperdine was first at 5-under 283, while Arizona State was four back at 287.

OSU will take on the Sun Devils tomorrow during its semifinal match.

Senior Eugenio Chacarra led the Cowboy starting five, firing a 2-under 70 to finish alone in fourth place.

Junior Rayhan Thomas posted an even-par 72 to finish in the top 10, tying for eighth place.

Junior Brian Stark signed for a 74 to tie for 12th place, while senior Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen carded a 76 to tie for 15th place.

Junior Hazen Newman rounded out the lineup with a 78 to finish in 18th.
