Cowgirl Tennis Ranked Second in Big 12 Preseason Poll

Oklahoma State's women's tennis team was picked second in the 2020-21 Big 12 preseason coaches poll released by the conference on Tuesday.

The Cowgirls received 74 points to land in the second spot of the poll behind Texas, who just edged out OSU with 79 points. Baylor and Texas Tech came in third and fourth in the polls. Kansas (48), Oklahoma (47), Kansas State (31), TCU (24), Iowa State (23) and West Virginia (9) rounded out the rest of the top 10.

This is the sixth consecutive year in which the Cowgirls have been selected within the top three in the Big 12 preseason coaches poll, with the highest selection coming in 2017 at No. 1. OSU finished the 2019-20 season with an 11-1 record and went 2-0 in conference play before the season was cut short due to COVID-19.
