Cowgirl Softball Adds All-Conference Catcher Reagan Wright

STILLWATER - The Oklahoma State softball team continues its success through the transfer portal with the signing of Reagan Wright, an All-Sun Belt catcher from UT Arlington.
Wright, a prolific hitter at a premium position, was selected to the All-Sun Belt First Team in 2018 and Second Team in 2019. The senior currently sits atop UTA's record books for most career RBI (128), most RBI in a season (53) and most RBI in a game (8).
The Mansfield, Texas native is a career .277 hitter with 27 doubles, 24 home runs, and 128 runs batted in. Wright is an all-around player who has showcased her offense, running and defense through four years at UTA. She led the Mavericks with nine stolen bases and threw out seven runners in the shortened 2020 season.
Wright marks the second transfer that head coach Kenny Gajewski has landed in the extended offseason. She joins Jordan Doggett (Virginia Tech) as two accomplished veterans who will look to play key roles with the 2021 Cowgirls.
