Cowgirl Equestrian Riders Receive NCEA Postseason Honors

The NCEA announced four Oklahoma State Cowgirl Equestrian riders as recipients of 2020 postseason honors, including Harley Huff and Emma Verplank, who were named first-team All Americans for Horsemanship.Â
Huff earns a spot on the All-America team for the third-straight season; she was a first-team selection as a freshman before collecting second-team honors as a sophomore. During her junior campaign, Huff tallied a 9-2-1 record with four MOP's as one of OSU's most consistent riders.Â
After earning honorable mention All-America honors for Horsemanship last season, Verplank claimed a spot on the 2020 All-America first team. A senior captain for the Cowgirls, Verplank finished her final season 9-1-2, with her lone loss being by half a point.Â
Fellow team captain Abigail Brayman was an honorable mention selection on the All-America Flat team. A junior, Brayman was 8-3-1 on the year and ended the season with three-straight victories.
Freshman Sydney North earned honorable mention All-America accolades in Fences after going 7-3-1 on the year and closing out the season with three consecutive wins.
