Cowboys Look For Fourth Consecutive Cabo Title

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will look to make it four consecutive victories at the Cabo Collegiate Cabo del Sol/Cove Club Golf Course when play gets underway this week.
The Cowboys have won the event all three years in which they have competed. OSU claimed the title for the first time in 2017 with a 29-under total of 823 and followed with triumphs in 2018 (14-under, 838) and 2019.
Last year resulted in OSU's first medalist at the event in junior Austin Eckroat, who finished with a 14-under tally of 199 and was fueled by a tournament-record 63 during the second round. The Cowboys posted a 32-under total of 820 to make it three in a row.
This year's event will get underway on Sunday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start and will consist of 54 holes over three days.
OSU's starting five will consist of Eckroat, sophomore Aman Gupta, senior Ferdinand Müller, sophomore Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen and freshman Brian Stark. Freshman Rayhan Thomas will compete individually.
